Tune, Crumpton Custom

This year we wanted to have two bikes that met two design goals for us.  The first being that the bike is race worthy and anyone would feel comfortable on it. The second is that the bike come spec’d with parts that are obtainable and regularly stocked.  This Crumpton Custom spec’d largely with ENVE CompositesTune and New Ultimate joins Jason’s Corsa Team at Interbike as our two race bikes.  The Fully Custom Crumpton (more later) and the Di2 MTB (more later) join the mix as a customer project bike and the 3rd in our series of Di2 mountain bikes.

With Jason’s bike we mentioned that it was a new venture for Crumpton Cycles and was designed by Nick but built in Italy.  This being a fully custom bike means that the frame is hand built in Austin Texas.  When we planned this bike we weren’t exactly sure what Nick was going to choose to build for us and were happy to see that he used the frame as a platform to show off all the options he offers on custom builds. The frame includes a press fit BB 30 shell with an integrated seat post, twin seat stays and both internal Di2 and brake routing.
