Custom Parlee Z-Zero Disc
Helping our customers with special custom builds such as this Parlee Z-Zero Disc is a painstaking, but ultimately rewarding process. From the initial contact, to component selection, and professional assembly, we take pride in our ability to listen to our client’s needs and concerns while injecting our own expertise into the conversation. The owner of this truly immaculate bicycle began his search with a request for a specific high-end road bike from a major bicycle manufacturer. However, through the process of weeding through the countless options, he ultimately decided to build his personal dream bike, a handmade-in-the-USA, wax-finished Parlee Z-Zero. The decision to go with the leading edge in component technology led to the choice of disc brakes, with Shimano’s flawless Di2 electronic shifting and German MCFK lightweight carbon cockpit. We kept the build as clean as possible, with stealth wire routing and a wide use of matte-finished carbon fiber to match the frame. To add a special touch, we used a modest selection red custom-anodized components. The bike wasn’t necessarily built to be lightweight, but when finished came in at a respectable 14.3 pounds without pedals.
